Atom Models

The first project for the year is an atom model. Select any element #3 - #13 from the Periodic Table. Make sure to use the paper/guide that you were given in class to correctly construct your model. 

Try to spend as little money as possible. Be creative by using THREE different colored things from home: M&M's, eraser heads, ping pong balls, styro foam, clay, etc.

Grading criteria:

• Correct # of protons
• Correct # of neutrons
• Correct # of electrons and in the right shell structure.
